Tennessee Premium and Wage Reporting System (TNPAWS)

The TNPAWS application is used to file the Quarterly Unemployment Insurance Premium and Wage Report online.
The criteria to report using this application are:
  • Have Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher or Netscape Navigator 6.0 or higher.
  • Your browser must have cookies enabled. Note: In both Internet Explorer and Netscape, cookies are enabled by default.
  • Your browser must support 128-bit SSL Encryption.
  • Your browser must have Javascript enabled. Note: In both Internet Explorer and Netscape, Javascript is enabled by default.
  • You must have received a Quarterly Premium and Wage Report with an Access Code.
  • If paying by check, you must have a printer to print the payment coupon that will accompany your check.
Reporting options available with TNPAWS if the criteria above are met:
  • Entering a Quarterly Premium and Wage Report online (forms LB-0456 and LB-0851)
  • Entering a "No Payroll Report" online (No wages were paid to employees this quarter)
Payment options for your Unemployment Insurance Premiums are:
  • Check, or
  • ACH Credit. If you are paying by ACH Credit, you must have made prior arrangements with your banking institution and you must have submitted an Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement to our Department.
 
AT THE PRESENT TIME, WE ARE ACCEPTING YOUR PREMIUM AND WAGE REPORT FOR THE:

1st Quarter of 2008 (January - March 2008)

To file your Premium and Wage report (forms LB-0456 and LB-0851), you must have the following information in-hand as you use the screens:
  1. A State account number and access code from the State of Tennessee
  2. Social Security Numbers for all employees
  3. Quarterly wage data for each employee
The system will be available during the following times:
  • Monday - Saturday  6:00 AM - 10:00 PM  Central Time
Click the Register button below to access the system if you have never used it before.

Click the Log-In button if you have used the system before and have a User Name and Password.

If you have already filed your report using TNPAWS for this quarter, and need a printed copy of your report or payment coupon, please click the Log-In button. After entering your User Name, Password, State Account Number and Access Code, a screen will be displayed to allow for the printing and/or viewing of your report and coupon.

Note: This application employs "Session Management."
